2050 Start with some monohulls, add a few catamarans, a dash of motor yachts. What do you get?? The Virgin Islands!! A giant playground with each island a living, breathing, rock solid place to explore!! Boats, boats everywhere. Sailing, motoring, anchored and moored. Good Lord!!
And the roosters sing. Its Road Town, Tortola. Plentiful free wifi, superb coffee, narrow streets, crazy drivers, a good overall size, great local flare. We like the vibe and I think we may have found our headquarters. Gotta love the Brits!!
Today in keeping with our hospitableness we enjoyed a most excellent visit and walk around town with more family de
Jordi!!! Sister Anne –Seymour, husband Albert, children Isabella, Caroline and Jane. Not wanting to be outdone myself
I decided to take a short run over to the Sunsail marina evincing a successful rendezvous with my fathers cousin Hunt Herrigel and wife Susan as they prepare to embark on a week long bare boat cruise with 6 friends here in the BVI’s.
What else have we done….a full moon party, “Pain Killer” cocktails with Dan and Jenny from a cruise ship, petting “Rocket” - a turtle who loves bananas and enjoying delicious supersized munchkins at a local coffee shop.
If you can’t catch a fish, buy it!!! The route map from Culebra, 3 much overdue island reports and photo albums of St. John and Tortola thus far.

WOW, congrats on making it to such a great place. Looks even cooler than anticipated
Biggest problem is it sounds like you’re having too much fun, all us Mainers looking out the window at the snow falling (Fri afternoon) are very jealous!

The SpeedScrabbleMaster has bought his ticket. I am giving fair warning: Prepare to be destroyed. Especially you, Wolf-boy. The FYC will leave its mark.

John–Great that you arrived in BVI—we had a wonderful bareboat trip out of a Marina where you are–boat was a Mariner 39–can’t remember name of marina–make sure you go to The Baths–and stop by Little Dix to see what you get for $1200 a day!!–and remember go to the Bitter End for dinner–can’t wait to enjoy vicariously all your doings (that are printable!)
