P1010027 1649 – “powerful cleansing, ultra concentrated.” A thoroughly refreshing rinse in the big pond after a most productive trash cleanse netting one more bag for the good guys. FOUND: Our fishing rod holder… (another casualty of boat cleansing day!) With the teak rail beading water and the bilge water level no longer rising I am filled with joy relishing in the silence of life aboard the Audax whilst reflecting upon how lucky the threeP1010025 of us truly our. A reading from my Daily Reflections Book:
“Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God.” Ephesian” 3:18-19

Late day Thursday update:P1010023
2044 The leaks fixed!! One tube of “Seal it”, 3 rolls of paper towels and a sliced finger to boot…. “hold baby, please hold, we love our Audax and don’t want her to sink!!” Goat meat….chewy but surprisingly tasty and now available at your nearest island shopping center.

    Hello aquatic integument traversers,

Glad to see that the cleansing taking place is not only of the spiritual variety - you might run the risk of becoming strange, bearded, neo-hippie pirates, otherwise. But enough from me because I came across an interesting compilation of poetic verse that I thought would be nice to share. It was taken from an anthology that I have been lucky enough to come into contact with, and that was also printed over 100 years ago, making it the oldest book I own. While you may not agree with all the lines, and poets, I still feel that it encompasses a tremendous span of time and wisdom- supplementary to the fine words of Ephesian. Here it is:

    Hey
Are you sure your bilge pump is really patched - that pumps the water out of the bottom of the boat - correct??
Actually, that is a beautiful photo of the shark - I think I read that they have really great hearing in addition to their ability to sense blood - be careful..
We are at the coast for lasagne and the super bowl on the big screne/with HD which is finally hooked up correctly!

    GO PATS!!

    Hi Adventurers of Team Audax,
How about those Giants! Sorry Pats fans. Finally got a chance to check out your site and I’m thrilled by all your adventures. The islands
look so serene and beautiful, mostly unspoiled by humans. It is truly a chance to think about what is important in life. We are doing well, thanks for the Christmas card by the way. Gordon is settled in Cleveland with I-Met and working hare. Kaan has been showing him the ropes in all aspects of city life. He has joined a kayaking club and met some nice people. We have a neighjbor on Westport Island checking the house once a week and Bob Stanley called today to trim the new growth in the apple orchard to keep things up. First week of March we go to Montana to ski and see Greg and Devin.
They have been looking at property but haven’t found the place yet. Had Chili with your folks and met your friends from Cumberland. Stay well, soak it all in , and enjoy the world. Love, Deb
