A foggy, fun filled, full day of time spend about the Audax yesterday with Don, my fantastic surveyor. What did we unearth, a lot and a little. No major structural problems to speak off, a little moisture here and there but overall the hull and deck were in good shape. Holding my breath as the engine attempted to turn over was perhaps the scariest moment of the day, but luckily it managed to power on through. A wiring fiasco, some rotten wood, a broken windlass, systems needing maintenance welcome to the world of boating!!
