A leaking boat, rotted wood, loose stanchions and more. Who wouldn’t want to buy an old boat! Surprises and headaches for sure, but nothing a few more greenbacks can’t solve. A productive weekend (Sverre, Jordi, Kate, Steve, myself) with the top side now buffed, the bottom painted, raw water exhaust hose replaced to the tune of $30/foot for freaking rubber piping material, stuffing box repacked, floor ripped out, leaks located and taped up, duct tape is all you really need for off shore cruising :), a great night out in Rockland with Sverre to watch the Sox game and enjoy fine Italian cuisine, a room without a view for accommodations (BUDGET!). Electrical work to start today, meeting with Strouts Boat yard in Freeport this afternoon, Steve is lining up off shore consultant Bruce Schwab for the first leg from Rockland, learning navigation software, moving forward…. John,
Bruce Schwab (offshore racer) is a good friend of my step dad’s (Robin Tattersall). Ask him for some stories.
You may want to spell check your site… “To Acheive”… That said, I like the site!
I’m glad you’ve got Jordi on board for Adult supervision. So when are your mothers going to do your safety review?

Hey you guys, This is awesome, I’m so excited that your doing this. It is an expierence of a life time. I will be with you in spirit and in mind. If you need anything, and I can help just ask. The boat looks great. You’ll have a blast. Keep me posted. I may have you meet some friends on your way if you like.

Wish I could come along! Even though I’m clueless about sailing, winds, currents, masts, jibs, anchors etc. I think you could use some kind of a moral cheerleader. Can’t believe you’re really doing it.You’re gonna have a blast. Boat looks awesome. Congrats!
